What you’ll learn

The Boise Medical Assistant program focuses on the clinical and administrative skills performed by MAs on a daily basis. During the program, you’ll be trained in several healthcare areas, including various administrative functions and clinical duties.

At Boise, you’ll learn how to:

Medical Assisting Program with a Career-Driven Curriculum

Graduates of the Boise MA program are eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification exam, offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Completing our Medical Assisting courses will help you prepare for the CMA exam, while providing you the skills and knowledge to excel in your first job as a Medical Assistant.

Our proximity to so many leading medical institutions benefits our students by providing them several employment options, upon graduation.

Online Courses

The MA program at Boise is offered in a hybrid-online format. This grants our students the opportunity to pursue their career goals, including those who work full-time or must take care of their families. Our online curriculum is practically identical to that of a traditional classroom setting. You will have the ability to come to campus and meet with your instructors at any point throughout the program.

Career Services

Upon completion of their studies, MA graduates at Boise have the full support of our career services team to help them find a job. Our career services coordinators will be there for you each step of the way. They will help you prepare your resume, land interviews, and ultimately succeed in the field as an MA.

The Eagle Gate College campus in Boise, ID, is located just off exit 50A (Cole Road) from I-84, heading west. The campus is conveniently located only seven miles southwest of downtown Boise.
