In the healthcare industry there aren’t enough Nurses or Medical Assistants to fill the available jobs, and that shortage is only supposed to become greater as the population ages. The American Nurses Association predicts there will be more registered nurse jobs available through 2022 than any other profession in the country.* The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 1.1 million additional nurses are needed to avoid a further shortage, and it predicts the job outlook for medical assistants will grow by 29 percent through 2026.**
That’s why our focus at Eagle Gate College is solely on Nursing and Medical Assisting. It’s comforting for our students to know that the day they graduate, their job opportunities will be plentiful. And we’ve tailored our programs to make that happen in the shortest practical time.
Our Practical Nursing program provides you with the knowledge and practical training you’ll need to pursue a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This program is specifically designed to prepare you for a successful career in the field. In fact, you will benefit from hands-on training in labs, simulations, and healthcare facilities. We will also assist you with passing the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN) so that you can become a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduation.
Doors open for nurses equipped with a BSN degree. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing allows Registered Nurses (RNs) to advance their careers in a variety of healthcare settings. Eagle Gate College offers a blended-online BSN program that will prepare students for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Students gain invaluable skills, while benefiting from the convenience of completing many of their courses online. Our flexible schedules provide an alternative solution for busy adults and full-time parents. Enroll in our BSN program from the safety of your home. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree can equip you with the advanced training to provide superior care in specialized roles within nursing education, administration, and quality management. Obtaining an MSN degree will allow you to pursue a career that could potentially provide you with greater responsibilities, salaries, and opportunities.
At Eagle Gate College, our MSN program offers classes that are taught entirely online. The Capstone courses include practicum hours that allow graduate students to utilize their new skillset in clinical settings. Graduates of our program can move into higher levels of practice and leadership roles in the nursing profession.
Developed with non-nursing students in mind, our blended-online Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) is an excellent choice for busy adults who would like to change careers.
As a pre-licensure Registered Nursing program, our MEPN accepts applicants who have already completed the required undergraduate General Education in a non-nursing bachelor’s program. This means that you can enroll in the program even if you do not have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
In as little as 22 months, you can pursue RN licensure and your dream career. Graduates are also qualified to take the Clinical Nurse Leader Exam after completing the program’s 400 practice hours, which includes 300 hours of immersion in CNL practice. In addition, our graduates are eligible for Public Health Nurse certification.
Eagle Gate College offers a dynamic Medical Assisting program that can be completed in as little as 9 months. Students learn through a combination of virtual instruction, hands-on lab exercises, and supervised externship hours. While earning your diploma in Medical Assisting, you will acquire the necessary skills to assist physicians, conduct lab work, suture wounds, take vital signs, and interpret results. Graduates of our program are also eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification exam offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
