Accelerated Healthcare & Nursing Programs

In the healthcare industry there aren’t enough Nurses or Medical Assistants to fill the available jobs, and that shortage is only supposed to become greater as the population ages. The American Nurses Association predicts there will be more registered nurse jobs available through 2022 than any other profession in the country.* The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 1.1 million additional nurses are needed to avoid a further shortage, and it predicts the job outlook for medical assistants will grow by 29 percent through 2026.**

That’s why our focus at Eagle Gate College is solely on Nursing and Medical Assisting. It’s comforting for our students to know that the day they graduate, their job opportunities will be plentiful. And we’ve tailored our programs to make that happen in the shortest practical time.

Practical Nursing Program

Our Practical Nursing program provides you with the knowledge and practical training you’ll need to pursue a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This program is specifically designed to prepare you for a successful career in the field. In fact, you will benefit from hands-on training in labs, simulations, and healthcare facilities. We will also assist you with passing the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN) so that you can become a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduation.

Masters Entry Program in Nursing

Developed with non-nursing students in mind, our blended-online Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) is an excellent choice for busy adults who would like to change careers.

As a pre-licensure Registered Nursing program, our MEPN accepts applicants who have already completed the required undergraduate General Education in a non-nursing bachelor’s program. This means that you can enroll in the program even if you do not have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

In as little as 22 months, you can pursue RN licensure and your dream career. Graduates are also qualified to take the Clinical Nurse Leader Exam after completing the program’s 400 practice hours, which includes 300 hours of immersion in CNL practice. In addition, our graduates are eligible for Public Health Nurse certification.
