Personal Fitness Training

Do you like to stay fit and to help others stay healthy and active by designing and implementing personalized exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle programs?  Eagle Gate College’s unique Associates in Health & Wellness with Personal Fitness Training Emphasis and our Personal Training Diploma Program combines science with fitness to teach you the skills you need to serve and retain a diverse clientele.

With Eagle Gate College’s fast-paced curriculum, you’ll quickly get out of the classroom and into an in-demand career.

The Utah Occupational Long-Term Projections forecast that Fitness Trainers will be among the fastest growing careers through 2020, with a projected total job growth of 36%, that’s 3,110 jobs, (Utah Department of Workforce Services Occupational Projections, 2012).

Las Vegas Boot Camp and Certification:

Eagle Gate College’s Personal Fitness Training program includes a week long boot camp in Las Vegas at the Professional Fitness Institute. You will spend one week near the end of your program learning best practices and training techniques from top name fitness celebrities such as Jay Cutler or Beth Horn. While in Las Vegas, you’ll take the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification exam.

Average program length:

Associates in Health & Wellness with Personal Fitness Training Emphasis- 20 months

Diploma in Personal Fitness Training - 10 months
