Nursing Programs at Eagle Gate College in Idaho
As a nurse, you will have the opportunity to heal hearts, minds, and bodies. Nursing is a noble career that often promises longevity and fulfillment. At our Eagle Gate College campus in Boise, Idaho, we offer several pathways to achieve your nursing career dreams.
Practical Nursing Program
Our Practical Nursing program provides you with the knowledge and practical training you’ll need to pursue a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This program is specifically designed to prepare you for a successful career in the field. In fact, you will benefit from hands-on training in labs, simulations, and healthcare facilities. We will also assist you with passing the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN) so that you can become a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduation.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
Doors open for nurses equipped with a BSN degree. A bachelor’s degree in Nursing allows Registered Nurses (RNs) to advance their careers in a variety of healthcare settings. Eagle Gate College offers a hybrid online BSN program that will prepare students for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Students gain invaluable skills, while benefiting from the convenience of completing many of their courses online. Our flexible schedules provide an alternative solution for busy adults and full-time parents. Enroll in our BSN program from the safety of your home. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
Masters Entry Program in Nursing
Developed with non-nursing students in mind, our hybrid online Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) is an excellent choice for busy adults who would like to change careers.
As a pre-licensure Registered Nursing program, our MEPN accepts applicants who have already completed the required undergraduate General Education in a non-nursing bachelor’s program. This means that you can enroll in the program even if you do not have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
In as little as 22 months, you can pursue RN licensure and your dream career. Graduates are also qualified to take the Clinical Nurse Leader Exam after completing the program’s 400 practice hours, which includes 300 hours of immersion in CNL practice. In addition, our graduates are eligible for Public Health Nurse certification.
